Catnapping No More: Success Story of Mommy Sock Hian and Her 9-Month-Old Baby on Baby Sleep Training

Before I engaged Zoe, my girl was waking up 2-3 times a night. Although we had a fixed sleeping routine, she needed lots of rocking and patting before she fell into deep sleep and was willing to sleep on her own in her cot. Ever so often, my helper would have to carry her to sleep for her naps as she refused to sleep on her own in her cot. All these made my husband and I really sleep deprived, and it became quite tiring for my girl’s caregivers.

The turning point came when I decided to engage Zoe, mainly because I was preparing to go for a work trip and was worried that my husband and my girl’s caregivers would not be able to cope with her poor sleeping habits.

It’s been 3 months since then and my girl has not only slept through the night, she’s able to self soothe herself to sleep for both her night sleeps and nap times! Not only that, what used to be half an hour cat naps, she now takes 1.5-2 hour naps twice a day 🎉. Just this afternoon, my dad told me she slept for 2.5 hours 🎉🎉🎉.

While I knew about sleep training theories, engaging Zoe gave me the confidence to carry out the training. Her home visit helped make important changes to my girl’s sleep environment, which I wouldn’t have made if I did the training myself. Zoe also had a detailed suggested schedule for me to follow and even after her package has ended, she was always there to answer any queries I had. With her support, it wasn’t tough at all retraining my girl after she suffered from herpangina which made her really clingy at night for a week.

No regrets at all embarking on this sleep training journey with Zoe and cheers to good sleeping habits!
